In the vicinity of the Hochberg’s castle, near Walbrzych, Książ Stud is situated. The place is unique, not only because of the horses. It’s truly one of the most interesting places in Poland. The castle is surrounded by an old English park, and farther by forests of Wałbrzych foothills. Placed over a deep and rocky ravine. With the stud buildings is a beautiful enclave.
In the stud can be found Silesiasns, local breed of the horses. Large and mainly black. It is nice to look at the green hills full of such horses. Of course not only green. In Książ each season is interesting and worth seeing.
